This month: Tomáš Chmelík, ČEZ
Tomáš Chmelík is a graduate of the University of Economics specialising in economic policy and environmental economics, he obtained his doctorate at the Czech University of Technology. During his work at the Ministry of the Environment he was responsible for matters concerning the Czech Republic’s
policy on climate change and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, in particular implementation of the emissions trading system and the preparation of the first national allocation plan for the Czech Republic. Since 2006, he has been active in ČEZ; since 2010 he has headed the clean technology unit, where he is responsible for, among other things, building and operating the network of public chargingstations as a part of the ČEZ /E/MOBILITA project.
