 BB Centrum


The name of BB Centrum was adopted, derived from the topographical names of Baarova Street and Brumlovka, in 1993. At present, BB Centrum is comprised of 15 completed buildings, and it is envisaged that an approximately 200,000-sqm part of the entire multipurpose development is built. This serves to illustrate that – rather than being a mere illusory vision – the idea that occurred to Czech entrepreneur, developer Radim Passer almost twenty years ago, was a viable project, which is successfully reaching its target. The Czech development company, PASSERINVEST GROUP has carried out Prague’s first large A-category office project outside of the city centre since 1989.
Out of the planned final shape of BB Centrum, the following buildings have already been completed: A, B, C, D, E, Office Park, Residence, FILADELFIE, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Brumlovka, the Community Centre and Primary School Elijáš. Presently, the Residential Park Baarova is under construction and, moreover, DELTA I and II, along with Building G are under preparation. Also, the construction of the second green park will soon be underway.
BB Centrum is not only an administrative project; it is also a place for housing, services, shops, restaurants and parks, along with the Community Centre, a kindergarten and a primary school. The services currently available, together with Baar Park – a secluded spot for active rest and relaxation – have significantly contributed to the increase in the value of the entire locality. It is also due to this new park and its ample opportunities for leisure time activities that people have got used to visiting BB Centrum in their free time as well as on working days. BB Centrum, thanks to Building Brumlovka, offers relaxation in a unique and exclusive fitness and wellness centre known as Balance Club Brumlovka and a dazzling variety of restaurants and other amenities where you can enjoy delicious feasts, along with a large number of shops and services. What has significantly contributed to the further development of BB Centrum has been the opening of Building FILADELFIE in autumn 2010. Its shopping mall has provided space for a supermarket, a laundry and drycleaner’s, fast food facilities, a jeweller, a men’s fashion shop and cafés. Last but not least, necessary parking facilities are also provided on site.

What’s in Store for the Future?

BB Centrum is a multipurpose complex, complete with full public amenities, housing facilities and employment opportunities. Upon completion of all the development plans, you will find about 300,000 square metres of space at BB Centrum. Aside from prime office space, this complex offers a large number of shops and services, housing opportunities, education, health care facilities, restaurants, sports amenities, along with ample opportunities for leisure time activities and, last but not least, the ever-present greenery.
Plans are underway to further extend the services and create a park in the southern part of BB Centrum. The total costs associated with the development of BB Centrum are expected to exceed approx. CZK 17 billion.

In the autumn of 1993, when I first began to seriously consider that we would attempt to develop a project named BB Centrum, frankly speaking, I did not have a clue as to the heights to which my original vision would rise. Many years later, I can witness, as a believer, that God has surpassed many times my original vision.

BB Centrum has become a kind of small urban district inside Prague, and it provides people with a quality working environment, versatile public amenities, comfortable housing, Christian education and pleasant areas for spiritual and physical development and relaxation.

My heartfelt prayer remains that the BB Centrum project will bring blessings to as many people as possible in their working, personal and spiritual life.
